"Nightfall in Middle-Earth is the best Blind Guardian album" BULLSHIT!

The best Blind Guardian album is the Imaginations from the Other Side followed by Battalions of Fear then Follow the Blind.

One of my favorite tacks from the Follow the Blind is Valhalla:

Lyrics:
High in the sky where eagles fly
Morgray the dark enters the throne

Open wide the gate, friend
the king will come
blow the horn and praise
the highest Lord
who'll bring the dawn
he's the new god
in the palace of steel
persuade the fate of everyone
the chaos can begin
let it in
(Lead: Andre)

Bridge:
So many centuries
so many Gods
we were the prisoners
of our own fantasty
but now we are marching
against these Gods
I'm the wizard, I will change it all
(Lead: Andre, Marcus)

Ref.:
Valhalla - Deliverance
Why've you ever forgotten me
(Solo: Andre)

Ref.:
Valhalla - Deliverance
Why've you ever forgotten me

Magic is in me
I'm the lost magic man
never found what I was looking for
now I found it but it's lost

The fortress burns
broken my heart
I leave this world
all Gods are gone

Bridge:
So many centuries
so many Gods
we were the prisoners
of our own fantasy
but then we had nothing
to lead our life
no, no, we can't live without Gods

Ref.:
Valhalla - Deliverance
Why've you ever forgotten me
(Lead: Kai)

(Both bridges were sung by
Kai Hansen)

About Wolfram Alpha

I know everyone heard about Wolfram Alpha, tried it, liked it or not. I did not want to write about it but the ignorance of a reporter upset me so much that I had to respond.

He wrote an article about the new engine. Tried a few standard inputs, they worked, then asked "What is war?" receiving data about mortality in Romania caused by war. So he finishes the article deciding that the project does not have the necessary "intelligence" to answer his question.

On the About page of Wolfram Alpha we can read:
"Our goal is to accept completely free-form input, and to serve as a knowledge engine that generates powerful results and presents them with maximum clarity."

Where did he take the idea that this is some sort of artificial intelligence or Chat with God project? How is the fact that the site automatically discovered what country is he from, displayed mortality results from Romania including cause of death probability and compared it to the whole world unsatisfactory?

This is IGNORANCE! This is why I do not watch TV, read papers and especially I do not read the m*******g articles of a sorry a** *********** journalist wannabe.

In my opinion Wolfram Alpha is a very interesting and useful tool. It even knows the "answer to life, the universe, and everything". It's 42.

Power Metal of the day: Sabaton

Take a bit of Running Wild, slow it down a bit, mix it up with World War Two theme, add just a hint of Russian Propaganda music and you get Sabaton.

New project o' mine: MonoGlass

I have a new project. I wrote it for everyone who needs absolutely free 16x16 icons with customizable backgrounds. They mostly revolve around web development. The icons were created using only one color and on their first mission (allemania.ro) they had a glassy background: hence the name MonoGlass icons.

The link is:

Select a preferred background and create a screen-shot with PrintScr.
You can also save the image without the background by right clicking on it in the browser and selecting "Save image".

Suggestions, icon ideas, opinions are most welcome!
