After reading an article about image formats on the net and how to use them to save bandwidth I thought I summarize the facts form my readers and for myself:
Use .Jpg format when:
- you are dealing with large images with a lot of colors (ex. photograps)
- you are dealing with extremely small image dimensions
- or animations
In addition use Ken Silverman's PngOut to optimize the size of the .Png files losslessly.
