Emily Rosa, an American from Loveland, Colorado, became at the age of 11 the youngest person ever to have a research paper published in a peer-reviewed medical journal — the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Emily Rosa in Penn & Teller: Bullshit! an Emmy-nominated American documentary television series hosted by professional magicians/comedians Penn & Teller. Many episodes aim to debunk what the hosts see as pseudoscientific ideas, supernatural beliefs, popular fads and misconceptions, and often from a libertarian point of view, the political philosophy espoused by both Penn and Teller.
I recommend the show, it feels good to watch. Here is a small part from the second episode of the sixth season (S06E02):

Yesterday (2008.03.04) the co-creator of Dungeons & Dragons Ernest Gary Gygax died at age 69.
